The past few years have been path-breaking when it comes to the world of mobiles phone. The cut-throat world that it is, the new-launches galore showed off some cutting-edge technology, new styles and a lot more. All brands like Apple, Samsung, Google along with smaller Chinese brands had a lineup of mobile phones, each having a different USP than the other. 2017 saw amazing mobiles Phone launches and the year 2018 is also set to welcome some new mobiles phone. From bezel-less to dual camera set-up, to face unlock, we have seen it all in the year gone by, but there is a lot to look forward to, as well. As 2017 draws to an end, we thought of listing some mobile phones, which you must keep your eyes and ears open for in the next year. So without further ado, let’s get started:

The Nokia 9: Nokia made a huge U-turn and made a comeback in July 2017. The brand had a few good quality phones to offer, but they are now all set to up their game with the Nokia 9. The device is rumored to be the most good-looking of the previously released lot, from the brand. Curved edges along with the 18:9 aspect ratio is being expected from this one. The “bothie” function which was seen in the Nokia 8 will also be a part of the upcoming device. The Nokia 9 is expected to be powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and come with 4GB of RAM. It is also supposed to pack a 22-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel front shooter for selfies. If priced right, the Nokia 9 will be one tough competitor for the other upcoming mobile devices.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3: The Xiaomi brand has worked it’s way up the ladder in the Indian market. With the Xiaomi Note 4 becoming one of the highest selling mobile phones in India, the brand got a huge boost and is coming up with phones galore. The release date of Mi Max 3 is slated to be around October 2018. Going by the prototype which surfaced on the internet, it is sure to have a central fingerprint scanner, vertical dual camera setup with rounded corners. If you happen to be a Redmi fan and are looking for an update, this is one phone you must keep an eye on.

LG G7: LG happens to be one of the most underrated mobile phone companies in today’s times. The brand has pushed forth many innovative devices which do not get the hype that they deserve. We just hope that the LG G7 does not meet the same fate as its predecessors and goes on to grip the market a lot better. Releasing early in the year, in January 2018 it will be the first to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The flagship device is rumored to have an OLED screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will most definitely have a metal, curved body with rounded edges.

Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini: The Samsung Galaxy series is one of their biggest hits in the history of their brand. A style and status symbol, the Galaxy series have many takers. It is to be believed that the S9 mini is going to have a 5-inch screen with infinity display. We haven’t heard much about the mini series in the last year, so we think that maybe Samsung wants to push the envelope with this line of phones in the coming year.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+: Other entrants from the Galaxy series are the S9 and S9+.the devices are thought to be coming in two-sizes like predecessors and with a dual camera setup as well. There is a lot of buzz believing that these devices will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and the launch is planned somewhere around April next year.

Sony Xperia XZ2: The Xperia range from Sony has been amazing for the brand, as these flagship devices have had many takers. The Omni Balance feature may be noticed in the Xperia XZ2 and it will most probably have no bezel to a 5.48-inch screen which will have full HD resolution. It is being speculated that the phone is going to have a 12-megapixel dual camera setup at the back and a 15-megapixel front camera for selfies. Techies are expecting a late February launch with this one.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9: another Galaxy device from Samsung which is slated to release in 2018 is the Galaxy Note 9. The Note series has seen many takers all across the globe. In an interview, the development team confirmed that they’d moved straight into planning for the next Note model, including working on enhancing notable features, like the S Pen. A late August launch seems to be on the cards with this one; we are expecting better and enhanced S Pen feature, with this device.

HTC U12: another very underrated mobile brand in India is HTC. The HTC U12 will most probably have an 18:9 bezel-less screen and similar hardware to its predecessor. It will most definitely have a dual camera setup at the back and a strong selfie camera. The company admitted that it wanted to release 5 to 6 mobiles phone in the year 2018, so we will be seeing a lot of HTC in the year to come.
